About Me:
Above all else, I am an “evolutionary facilitator” - meaning my sense of Calling is to help facilitate the shift in consciousness that humanity must traverse for us to survive and thrive on the beautiful Earth we have been given as our stewardship responsibility.
Teilhard de Chardin concluded the the course of evolution involves two on-going streams of development: 1) increasing complexity and 2) increasing consciousness. Further, he postulated, the direction of evolution is toward the convergence of increased complexity and increased consciousness. Upon there convergence, he observed, there is then a breakthrough to “a higher order of simplicity.” It's the “ah ha” moment in which a new clarity clears the clutter of the chaos (couldn't avoid the alliteration!) that existed prior to realization. We've all had such an experience - or we probably wouldn't be meeting up on sites such as Zaadz!
It occurred to me some time ago that there was nothing requiring my help in increasing the complexity - that seems to be taking care of itself with increasing intensity and rapidity. What needs my contribution - and your contribution - is to do whatever we can to help increase the awareness/ consciousness that will further evolution.
My particular focus is on facilitating a shift from a problem-focused; anxiety/fear motivated; and reactive way of being toward a vision and outcome-oriented; passion/love fueld; and creative way of being in the world. The reactive orientation is the current “default” orientation of the human experience - and the time has come for a new operating system to be put in place.
I express my sense of Calling as a consultant, executive coach, facilitator (of course) and speaker. My current book, “The Power of TED* (*The Empowerment Dynamic,”is a teaching story about personal leadership. To learn more about TED*, please visit: www.powerofTED.com.
